About Wang
Yunshen Wang, DAc, LAc, is an expert, licensed acupuncturist at NJ Spine and Wellness, treating patients at the Freehold, New Jersey, office. He has been serving the New Jersey community for over 15 years, working as a physician assistant, massage therapist, and acupuncturist. He guides patients toward a speedy recovery in a holistic and caring environment.
Yunshen completed his Bachelor of Science in clinical medicine from Kunming Medical University in Kunming, China, and his Master of Science in acupuncture at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York. He completed his internship at Yunnan Red Cross Hospital, and his residency in traditional medicine at Kunming Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, both in Kunming, China.
Before joining NJ Spine and Wellness, Yunshen worked as an acupuncturist and massage therapist at Dr. Ma’s Manhattan Medical Rehab in New York City and the Center for Advanced Pain Management and Rehabilitation in Metuchen, New Jersey. Yunshen was also a part of the team at Jersey Rehabilitation Medical Clinic in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and Soul Focus in Eatontown, New Jersey.
Yunshen is fluent in English and Mandarin. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, playing tennis and badminton, traveling, reading, and listening to music. He looks forward to treating patients in both an acute and chronic care setting.
