Physical Therapist

A Physical Therapist will develop individual treatment plans for patients that assist in their long-term recovery. To be successful in this role, a Physical Therapist must be knowledgeable in treatment practices and have the ability to manage various types of patients.

The ideal candidate will learn about patients’ conditions and assess their evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans. They should also be skilled in creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs and administer physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve the patient’s mobility.

Role

  • Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition
  • Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results
  • Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Create personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs for patients
  • Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health
  • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for advanced care
  • Document accurate patient care history in a timely manner
  • Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Provide engaging, one-on-one care with patient evaluations
  • Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhering to company policies regarding
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate clinic evening hours as needed and/or required

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
  • Completion of the American Physical Therapy Association residency program
  • Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Compassionate and attentive to detail
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking
  • Ability to manage patients with different personalities
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level
  • Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques

Rehabilitation Technician

A Rehabilitation Technician will guide patients through exercises and assist patients to and from the rehabilitation area. To be successful in this role, a Rehabilitation Technician must be patient and compassionate when working with patients who may be resistant.

The ideal candidate will aid the Physical Therapist, and other specialists during sessions and also be able to perform basic clerical duties.

Role

  • Help patients to and from therapy areas
  • Lift and move patients with mobility problems
  • Guide patients through exercises
  • Set up applicable therapy equipment as required
  • Sanitize therapy areas ongoing
  • Assist patients as they complete their functional rehabilitation programs
  • Monitor patients progress during sessions
  • Reporting patient signs or symptoms to the provider(s) and administrative staff
  • Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
  • Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhering to company policies regarding
